COAST BRIDGE-GHANA
Volunteer in Ghana with Coast Bridge - Ghana, a local, grassroots non-profit organisation in Ghana and support communities in need while experiencing life in Ghana , the expertise that volunteers bring can be helpful in building our capacity. Most of our work and projects are done through volunteers and partners. We recognize that the decision to join us will not be an easy one; you will be investing your time, energy and money. It can be a hard decision but in the end you will be glad to have been part of something special. With us you are needed, you will make a difference and whichever project you will take, an exciting experience awaits you. All the money and materials that comes into the organisation goes into supporting rural communities, supporting stuff and running our office.
we offer different volunteer opportunities. You can be a teacher or teaching assistance in our school, You can promote early childhood development in childcare center/ Nursery, or coach football to students from under-resourced communities, Assist with hand-on constructions, public health awareness,
SCHOOLS (EDUCATION)
The key to poverty reduction and the development of human resources lies in education, Girl child education is particularly important, because with mothers, knowledge can most effectively spread through the families and communities. We have educational institutions which educate people of all backgrounds, partner with us and support us in meeting our community’s needs.
HEALTHCARE
Our organization work closely with health workers in the rural areas to improve the health standard of these communities through public health education and awareness. Volunteers will work alongside local healthcare professionals on community outreach projects.
SMALL SCALE INDUSTRIES
The high rate of unemployment in Ghana has turned many to small scale business, especially women. Management of these businesses is sometimes a challenge. Volunteer work with us to reach out to these businesses with expert advice on basic management skills such as record keeping, savings etc. and turn their business and lives around for good.
CHILD RIGHT AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Make impact in the lives of rural children and women by working together with our staff to create awareness about the right of children and encourage and empower vulnerable women.
CARING
Make a difference in the lives of children by promoting early childhood development in our child care center and kindergartens. You can improve the lives of these children by spending time with them and assisting them in any way possible.
SPORT
Volunteer by teaching social values such as teamwork, respect, togetherness etc through coaching sport in our school or join a local football teams to train and play with them.
CONSTRUCTION
Assist with hand-on constructions in our school and also support rural families construct their homes
ADMINISTRATIVE WORK
Make impact by working closely with our staff in managing our project, help is needed in areas of social media management and marketing, grands writing and fundraising, projects and office assistants etc.
FEES
The fee include : Accommodation, Air port pick up, Administrative cost, security, staff on the grounds, WiFi, social and learning Activities.
